Finally gave in on the rotating brush head, kicking myself for waiting
Been pushing a manual wire brush for 8 years, figured the rotary ones were just a sales gimmick. Borrowed a friend's drill attachment last month on a heavy creosote job in Portland and it stripped down that flue in half the time. Anyone else hold out on a tool for too long and then wonder why you didn't switch sooner?

stripped down that flue in half the time" is exactly it. I did the same with a handheld vacuum for years. Made zero sense. Switched on a whim and now I'm mad about all that wasted elbow grease. Some tools just click. No shame in being late to it.
