The new saute pan I got last week already has a wobble on the flat top

Got it from a restaurant supply spot in Dallas and the bottom's warped after just 6 services, is this just what happens with cheap pans or am I doing something wrong when I drop it on the burner?

Warped after just 6 services" is doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Either you're cooking on a lava field or that pan was born with a lazy eye. Most restaurant supply stuff is built like a tank, but even tanks get a flat tire if you slam them down on a screaming hot burner while they're cold. Pro tip: let the pan warm up slow, don't drop it like it owes you money, and if it's still wobbling, just spin it on the stove and call it a feature. Free fidget toy, really.
