Laughing at the guy who swore by a fish spatula for everything

Rolled my eyes when a line cook at a diner in Portland told me his fish spatula could flip anything from eggs to pancakes to burger patties, but after using it for a week straight I get it now - anyone else have a tool they mocked at first?

Did you ever try using a fish spatula on a ceiling fan? Asking for a friend who's still finding pancake bits in weird places.
