Pro tip: Check if your coffee table book has hidden cat flaps before you buy
I ordered a $35 'interactive' cat book online and half the pages were just cardboard flaps that my cat ripped off in 10 minutes. Look for reviews that mention 'sturdy' or 'no flaps' before you hit purchase, has anyone else wasted money on those gimmicky ones?

I grabbed a $12 "My Cat Likes to Hide" book at a grocery store checkout and the pages are thick, solid cardboard with no flaps at all. My tabby rubs her face on it and it holds up fine after six months. The difference is you can feel the page weight just flipping through it. That's the only kind I buy now.
