Switched my cat's water bowl from plastic to glass and she finally drinks enough

My cat would barely touch her water and I thought it was a health thing. Turns out she hated the plastic taste or smell or whatever. After 3 days with the glass bowl she's drinking like normal. Has anyone else had a cat that just refuses certain bowl materials?

Blew my mind when I figured out my cat was the same way (took me way too long honestly). I had her on this fancy stainless steel bowl and she'd barely touch it, but I swapped to a cheap glass one and now she's a little water fiend. Never would've guessed something so small would make that big of a difference.

Cats are picky little jerks about the dumbest things. Mine won't touch water if the bowl is touching the food bowl, has to be three feet away minimum. Took me two years and a pouting dehydrated cat to figure that one out. Glass seems to be the magic material though, I've heard that from a few people now.
