Switched from dry food to wet food for my cat last week and the difference is huge

My cat Milo was always scratching at his bowl and leaving half the kibble until I swapped him to wet food. Now he cleans his plate in 2 minutes and his fur looks way shinier. Has anyone else seen this big of a change with their picky eater?

My coworker Jenna had a cat named Pepper who would literally paw at her dry food and scatter it across the kitchen floor like some kind of protest. She switched to wet food about two months ago and told me Pepper went from eating maybe a quarter of her bowl to licking it clean in under five minutes. The vet even commented on how much healthier her coat looked at the last checkup. Jenna said she's saving money in the long run because Pepper isn't wasting food anymore. What's funny is Pepper used to cry for treats all the time but now she seems way more satisfied after meals. Guess it's true what they say about cats being picky about texture and moisture.

I read that wet food is closer to what cats would eat in the wild.
