Spent $60 on a cat calming diffuser that just made my cat stare at the wall
I bought one of those plug-in pheromone diffusers because my cat, Mochi, was scratching the couch a lot. It ran for a whole month and didn't change a thing, except now she sits and just looks at the spot on the wall near the outlet. Has anyone had a cat react weirdly to these things instead of calming down?

Look at the spot on the wall, huh? That is a weird reaction. What does @leer12 make of that, since zoning out seems to be the main effect? Do you think Mochi is actually stressed by the smell and just shutting down instead of getting calm? I've heard some cats just get confused by those things.
