Spent $50 on a motion activated air can for my cat, he still yells at 4am
My cat Gus would not stop scratching the bedroom door at like 4 in the morning, so I dropped $50 on one of those motion activated air sprayers that hiss when he gets close. It worked for about two weeks and then he figured out he could just sit outside the sensor range and scream instead. Honestly I think the $50 just taught him that the door is the most interesting thing in the house. Now I am wondering if the real fix is just leaving the door open and letting him do whatever he wants. Has anyone actually won this battle with a cat or do we all just give up eventually?
