My cat woke me up at 4:47am for 6 days straight and I finally figured out why
So my orange tabby Rufus decided 4:47am was the new breakfast time and he was not subtle about it. He would sit on my chest, stare at my face, and do this little chirp every few seconds until I got up. After 6 days of this I was losing my mind and almost called the vet. Turns out my neighbor in apartment 4B got a new kitten and Rufus could hear it moving around through the wall at that exact time every morning. He wasn't hungry at all, he was just being nosy about the new cat next door. I moved his cat tree to the other side of the bedroom and the 4:47am wake up calls stopped after 2 nights. Has anyone else had their cat react to a neighbor's pet through the walls like that?
