My cat started ignoring the expensive catnip I bought in Seattle

I got this fancy organic catnip from a pet store there, but my cat just sniffed it and walked away after three tries. Some people say cats can be picky about catnip, while others think the quality might have been off. Has anyone else had a cat completely reject a 'premium' treat?

Maybe your cat's just a reverse snob. Mine only goes for the cheap stuff from the grocery store, like it's some kind of feline junk food. The fancy organic kind gets the same cold shoulder.

My cat Boots does the same thing, margarethill. It's like they have a built in radar for the stuff we don't want them to eat. Maybe they just want to keep us humble.
