My cat knocked my $6 coffee mug off the counter at 5am in Nashville, and I still can't decide if she meant it
Some folks swear cats knock stuff over just to get a reaction, but I think she was mad I slept through her usual breakfast time. Do your cats aim for your stuff on purpose, or is it just clumsy paws?

My Nashville cat does the same thing when breakfast is late, try an auto feeder.
