My cat finally slept through the night after 3 months of 4am wake-up calls

I took my cat to a new vet in Portland last week because she kept yowling at 4am every morning. The vet suggested a timed feeder and a second litter box, both super simple changes. After 3 days she started sleeping until 7am, which is a huge win for me. Has anyone else had luck with breaking a cat's weird sleep schedule?

Gotta love how fixing one little thing like a feeder can totally change your daily flow, it's wild how much small adjustments ripple out into everything else you do.

Timed feeder was a game changer for my cat too. I got one that opens at 5am so she learned the food comes from the machine not from me yelling from bed. Took about a week but now she waits by the feeder instead of pawing my face. Also started playing with her with a wand toy right before bed to tire her out, that helped a ton too. The combination of the feeder and the playtime broke her old habit of waking me up at 3am, now she sleeps straight through until that feeder clicks. It's wild how such simple fixes can work when you're consistent about it.
