Nah, that's just coincidence. Cats knead because they're comfortable, not because of a window view. He'd do that same thing anywhere.

Actually read a study recently that said cats pick specific spots for kneading based on what they can see outside... something about feeling like they're guarding their territory while doing it. Got a friend who's a vet tech and she says cats will always face a window or door when they're in that super relaxed state, keeping an eye on things even when they're happy. So maybe it's more than just coincidence after all.
