Vent: Spent $60 on a packing cube set and it was the worst buy for carry-on trips

Those cubes took up more space than my clothes because they forced me into weird shapes and I had to ditch them in a Tokyo airport bathroom after 3 days of frustration has anyone else had packing cubes backfire like that?

Tokyo. That's rough. I had a similar thing happen with packing cubes in Seoul. They don't fold right for a standard carry-on bag. I ended up stuffing them in a trash can at the airport hotel. Never again.

@kim.stella yeah, the hotel trash can is a pro move. Next time just roll them tight and use a compression bag, works way better than trying to fold them flat.
