The week I packed for a 10 day trip and my bag weighed 22 pounds
It was a work trip to Denver with two different weather forecasts, so I panicked and packed everything. My rolling bag was so heavy I had to lift it sideways onto the train. The whole trip I was just mad at myself for hauling three jackets I never wore. What's your go-to move for cutting weight when you're packing for unpredictable weather?

Twenty-two pounds for ten days is wild. I would have been stuck at the airport paying a fee. My move is to pick one jacket that works in rain and wind, then just wear it on the plane.

Remember my friend who packed like three jackets for a trip? She totally got hit with that overweight bag fee, lol. @finleythomas is right that it's just clothes, but man, that fee hurts.
