The scarf trick I picked up from a flight attendant in 2019

I used to carry a separate big bag just for my travel pillow and blanket (so bulky, right?) until a flight attendant on a red-eye to Boston told me to just stuff a lightweight scarf with my jacket for neck support. Has anyone else ditched actual travel pillows for something you already own?

Scarves work great but lightweight jackets don't give enough support for me.

@faithj10 btw the "lightweight" jackets are really just windbreakers, not support layers.
