That moment I packed a whole suitcase with just shoes
I was getting ready for a 10 day trip to Chicago last spring and I kept cramming more pairs of sneakers and boots into my carry-on. By the time I got to the hotel, I couldn't even lift my bag without groaning. Then I saw this guy at baggage claim walk past me with a little 30 liter backpack and he looked so chill. I asked him how he did it and he said he wore his bulkiest shoes on the plane and only packed two pairs total. That clicked something in my brain. Now I limit myself to the shoes on my feet plus one backup pair and I have room for everything else. Has anyone else overpacked shoes and regretted it halfway through a trip?

Nah, I love having options for different activities and weather conditions so a whole suitcase of shoes sounds worth it to me.
