Tbh, the TSA agent in Denver changed my whole packing game

She pulled my bag aside and showed me how my rolled clothes were still too thick, then had me fold them flat and stack them like files. Honestly, I fit three extra shirts in the same space. Has anyone else had a TSA person give you a legit good tip?

That "fold them flat and stack them like files" thing is a game changer. I saw a video once where a flight attendant did the same thing with pants and jackets. It really does save a ton of room compared to just rolling everything.

Totally feel that. I used to roll everything and my bag was always bursting. The flat stack method is a lifesaver.

Yeah, the "fold them flat and stack them like files" thing is a real game changer. I was a diehard roller for years, but my bags always looked like a laundry bomb went off. After switching, I can fit a week's worth of clothes in a carry-on that used to barely hold three days rolled up. Plus, nothing gets wrinkled sideways anymore, which is huge for me since I hate ironing on vacation. Your mileage may vary, but it's worth trying if you're sick of unpacking a mess.
