My sister said roll don't fold, I thought she was crazy
She's been traveling for years and kept telling me to roll my clothes for a 10 day trip to Portland. I finally tried it last month and fit everything in a 40 liter bag with room to spare. I was sure I'd need a checked bag for jeans and jackets but nope. Anyone else have a method someone pushed on you that actually worked?

Did your sister also tell you how to layer things or pack certain fabrics? That's the part I'm still trying to figure out with rolling, like heavy denim versus thin t-shirts. I've messed it up a couple times by just cramming everything in a roll instead of sorting by fabric first. Curious what your setup looked like for that Portland trip specifically.

My buddy tried that rolling method once and his jeans came out looking like wrinkled origami.
