My liquids bag took me 3 trips and a TSA agent in Denver to finally figure out
For years I just threw full size shampoo and sunscreen in my bag and got flagged pretty much every time, so I finally sat down and timed myself packing a real 1 quart bag last month. First attempt at home took 25 minutes and everything still leaked, second attempt at a Denver hotel took 15 minutes and I lost my face wash, and the third time an agent pulled me aside and said "sir, those are 4.4 ounces, the limit is 3.4" which was news to me. Turns out the fix was buying the tiny 3.4 oz bottles and a clear zip bag I could actually see through, and packing them last so I don't dig around. Whole thing took me about 3 weeks of trial and error for something that should have been a 5 minute change. What size bottles do you all use and do the solid shampoo bars actually get through security easier?
