Learned the hard way why you don't pack glass bottles in a carry-on
I was flying out of Denver last spring and had a small jar of face oil in my toiletry bag. By the time I got to my gate, I heard this wet crunch sound from my bag. The jar had cracked and oil was all over my clothes and my laptop sleeve. I spent the next 20 minutes in the airport bathroom trying to wipe everything down with paper towels. Has anyone found a good way to travel with glass containers without this happening?

23 paper towels later and my laptop still smelled like lavender for a week. pretty sure TSA thought i was running some kind of essential oil business out of my bag

My friend Jenny had a lavender oil leak in her purse once... soaked into her passport and everything. She got stopped at customs coming back from Mexico and the agent actually asked if she was trafficking aromatherapy products. Her passport still smelled like a spa two months later.
