I finally caved and tried the bundle method for toiletries
My friend Jess swore by putting all her liquids in a clear zip pouch and just squishing them into any corner of her bag. I thought she was crazy since I always used a separate toiletry bag. Then on a trip to Portland last month my regular bag wouldn't fit in my cabin zero and I had to dump everything loose. Jess's pouch saved me from checking a bag and I owe her a beer. Anyone else have a packing trick they ignored for way too long?

Honestly, did you not have any issues with stuff leaking? I always figured that squishing everything together in one pouch would just end up with shampoo all over my toothpaste. Tbh I tried the bundle method once and my conditioner cap popped open during a flight, it was a disaster. I guess maybe the key is having really secure lids or double bagging, but my separate toiletry bag has never failed me so I'm sticking with it. Ngl I'd rather just pack lighter than risk that mess again.

Yikes, I read somewhere that ziploc bags are a lifesaver for this, sorry @allen.ruby.
