Friend called my packing 'a crime scene' after our Europe trip
She said I looked like I was moving out, not traveling. Now I roll everything and use packing cubes. Cut down from a stuffed 40L to a half-full 28L for a 10 day trip to Lisbon last month. Anyone else get roasted by their travel buddy?

That's rough, but also kind of funny. My sister said the same thing about my bag on a trip to Chicago. Called it a "disaster zone." Now I'm all about compression straps and leaving one pair of shoes behind. Feels good to pack light, like a weight off your shoulders. You figured it out way faster than me, good for you. Rolling is definitely the secret.
