Finally fit 8 days in a 35L bag for my Denver trip, and a TSA agent gave me the push I needed
I flew out of Denver on a Tuesday for an 8 day trip with just my 35L backpack, and I was honestly nervous at the gate. A TSA agent pulled my bag for a second look, then asked how long I was gone for. When I told her 8 days, she laughed and said she packs the same way for 10 day trips, and that most people just bring too many just in case clothes. That one line stuck with me more than any packing list I have read. I have done 3 carry-on-only trips since then and never gone back to a checked bag. Anyone else have a stranger drop a packing truth bomb on them at the airport?
