Wasted $400 on that fancy power stretcher with auto-adjust...

Bought that auto-tension power stretcher thinking it'd save time on big commercial jobs, but it kept slipping on Berber carpet and I had to redo a whole 2,000 sq ft office lobby. Anyone else ditch the gimmicks and stick with a standard model?

Switched back to a standard Roberts after fighting with a similar automatic model for two months. The old manual method took a bit longer but I never had to rip up and re stretch anything.

Man that's rough, I feel for you. Nothing worse than fighting with a tool that should be making your life easier.
