Tried glue-down carpet over pad for a change... never again
After 12 years of stretching carpet, I took a contract that specified glue-down over a thick memory foam pad. The glue cost me $180 extra per room and the install took 3 hours longer than a standard stretch job because the pad kept bunching up. Has anyone else dealt with a client insisting on this setup?
