Threw down $800 on a power stretcher and wish I'd done it years ago

I was fighting with a knee kicker for months on shag jobs until my back gave out last Tuesday. That 800 bucks hurt at first but now I'm flying through rooms in half the time. Anyone else wait too long to buy the good stuff?

Bought mine three years ago after I threw my back out stretching a cheap carpet in a basement. The chiropractor bill was $400 alone, so I basically paid the same price but got a sore spine as a bonus. Now I laugh at my old self wrestling with a knee kicker like it was a wild animal. At 52, I've learned the hard way that saving money on tools just costs you in pain and time. My wife says I should have bought it when our first kid was born, but I was too stubborn to listen. Now I just nod and say "you were right honey" every time I roll it out.

Read a forum post once where a guy said his $300 chiropractor copay was what finally pushed him to buy a power stretcher. Felt that in my bones after my last shag carpet job. Pretty sure I can hear my knees crackling now when I stand up from the floor, all because I was too cheap to upgrade.
