Yeah, that slow dry is pure torture. I once peeled up a whole vinyl decal because the edges felt dry but the middle was still wet glue. It's like the material knows exactly when you're about to lose it.

Oh man, that specific kind of patience is a skill I do not have. I would be the idiot checking it every twenty minutes and leaving a fingerprint in it. My entire project would be ruined by sunrise. The slow dry would feel like a personal attack.

Feel the exact same way. My brain just starts screaming at me to poke it or test a corner way too early. Once ruined a whole resin tabletop because I convinced myself the tacky layer meant it was dry enough for the next step. That slow creep of curing time feels designed to mess with people like us.

Honestly, that tacky layer is nature's built-in test strip. Harper254 checking every twenty minutes is just proper quality control, not a crime.
