Power stretcher slipped on a tile floor last Wednesday
Was working a job in a condo in Austin. Had the tile-to-carpet transition strip out. Power stretcher just slid right off the tile. Hit my knee on the tack strip, bled through my pads. Ended up using double-sided carpet tape under the stretcher head to keep it planted. Has anyone else had this issue with smooth flooring?

Bled through your pads? That sounds rough. Double-sided tape is a smart move, I've seen guys use antislip mats too. Did it hold up for the rest of the job?
