That Tuesday last summer nearly broke me - 3 jobs went sideways in 6 hours
I showed up to a deck job in Missoula at 7am and the homeowner had moved the support beams 2 feet from where we agreed. Then my circular saw died halfway through cutting the joists. Had to drive 45 minutes to borrow a buddy's saw. Got back and realized I forgot the brackets at the shop. By 3pm I had 3 different clients calling me angry. The deck finally got done but I lost $200 on gas and extra materials. Anyone else have a day where everything just falls apart no matter what you do?

Oh man, Tuesday the 12th of June last year I drove 2 hours to a little town called Thompson Falls to re-shingle a shed roof. Got there, realized I left my compressor and nail gun sitting right next to my truck back home. Had to hand nail the whole thing with a hammer like some kind of amatuer. Then at lunch I sat on a tube of roofing cement and it RUINED my favorite jeans. Felt like the universe was just laughing at me that day. By 4pm I was so frustrated I accidentally backed my truck into the only tree in the whole property. Made a grand total of $40 after gas and fixing the taillight.
