Spent $30 on a magnetic bit holder and zero regrets
Picked up one of those magnetic bit holders from the hardware store after losing a screw in the ceiling for the tenth time. Has anyone found a better way to keep small fasteners from dropping into oblivion?

@sagen36 I have to disagree that a magnet is the better option - that dab of grease you mentioned actually works better for me since it doesn't attract metal dust or mess with the delicate balance of screw alignment like a strong magnet can.

Man, I feel this so hard. Dropping screws into the ceiling insulation or behind a wall is the absolute worst, especially when you have to fish around for them like a raccoon. That magnetic bit holder sounds like a lifesaver honestly, there's nothing worse than that sinking feeling when you hear a tiny ping and know it's gone forever. I've seen guys use a dab of grease on the screw head to hold it in place, but a good magnet is way cleaner and probably saves you from messing up your bit every time.
