Shoutout to the guy who showed me a better way to mark studs

I used to snap a chalk line and then eyeball every stud location with a tape, which cost me so much time on a 40 foot wall last month. This older framer on site showed me to just mark the plate with a speed square and a pencil line every 16, no chalk needed. Has anyone else switched up their layout method and never looked back?
