Locked my skill saw blade backwards for 3 months and nobody caught it
Was ripping down some 2x4s for a shed frame in my backyard last week and the cuts kept burning no matter how slow I fed the wood. My neighbor who does framing for a living in Nashville walked over, looked at my saw for about two seconds, and said my blade was on backwards. I felt like a total idiot because I had swapped blades back in March and just threw the new one on without checking the arrow. The teeth pointing the wrong way explain why I was pushing so hard and going through twice as many blades. How often do you guys actually check blade direction, or am I the only one who learned this one the hard way?
