Just realized flat bar beats crowbar for demo work after a job in Detroit

I was pulling trim in an old house near downtown and my crowbar kept gouging the drywall. Grabbed a flat bar from the other guy and it slipped behind the baseboard like butter. Anyone else made the switch and never looked back?

Flat bar's actually a pry bar, not a demo bar.

Three years ago on a job in a brick warehouse I switched from a 24 inch crowbar to a flat bar and never went back. The flat bar digs into tight spots way better and I barely dent the framing underneath. You can call it a pry bar all you want but I'm still using it to bust up plaster and pull nails every day. It gets the job done faster without wrecking everything around it.
