Hit 500 jobs last month, got humbled by a door slab
I been framing and trimming for 12 years, figured I seen it all. Then last Wednesday I hung a solid core door at the Johnson remodel over on Maple, and it wouldn't close right. Checked my reveals, checked the jamb for level, everything was dead on. Turns out the slab itself was warped 3/16 inch - never had that happen before. Anybody else run into a factory defect that caught you off guard?

3/16 is crazy, had a prehung once that was bowed worse than that.

Why do they even bother making them if they're just gonna warp a week off the truck? Sounds about right though.
