Hit 10,000 square feet of flooring in a year and it surprised the hell out of me

I went solo last March and just added up my invoices, 10,340 sq ft of tile and hardwood laid in 12 months. That's roughly 40 average sized living rooms, and I only remember the two bad days, not the 200 good ones. Anyone else track their output like this or am I just a numbers nerd?

Look at the numbers differently, I track my crews by job count and hours on site, not square footage. Square feet don't tell you much when every house has its own weird corners, stairs, and cuts that eat up time. That 10,000 number looks impressive, but it hides the real story of how hard each job actually was.
