Thought I hated networking until I tried a small peer group instead
I always dreaded those big happy hour mixers where nobody really talks. Then a former coworker invited me to a monthly breakfast with 5 people from different departments, and I actually got two solid job leads in just 3 months. Has anyone else found smaller groups way more useful than the big events?

Big groups are just noise. Small groups actually deliver.

Yeah, isn't that the truth. It's like how a small dinner party beats a huge crowded restaurant every time - you actually get to talk to people.
