Switching from a salary job to freelance invoicing changed how I plan my year
I spent 2 years in a 9-to-5 where payday felt random, then tried tracking my own invoices for 6 months. The difference was seeing exactly which weeks were dry and which were full, so I could schedule big expenses around the lean spots. Anyone else find that seeing income in real time makes you less stressed than waiting for a set check?

That part about seeing exactly which weeks were dry really hit home for me. Once I started logging my own invoices, I got way better at spotting the slow periods and moving my bigger bills around them, which honestly took more weight off than a steady paycheck ever did.
