Serious question, a guy at a job fair in Tulsa told me to drop the "team player" line
He was maybe 50, had a booth for a logistics company, and he said every resume he saw in the last hour used that same phrase and none of them stood out. I asked what he wanted instead and he said pick one real thing you did, like "I cut our order errors from 12 a week to 2." Now I try to write one number per job and it feels weird but interviews go better. Has anyone else tried this or am I just getting lucky with the places I'm applying?
