Kept my resume to one page last week and got 2 callbacks after 8 months of silence
For 8 months I sent out a 3 page resume with every single task from every job I ever had on it, and I got maybe 3 callbacks total. Last week a recruiter in Austin told me flat out she spends 7 seconds on each resume, so I cut mine down to one page with just numbers and results, and I got 2 calls in 5 days. How short do you keep yours, and did going shorter actually get you more replies?
