Dropped $150 on a career coaching session that flopped hard

I paid a career coach in Austin $150 for a one hour Zoom call to fix my resume and interview skills. She basically just read off generic tips I could get from a free YouTube video. After the call, I had no new strategy and felt like I wasted my money. Has anyone else tried career coaching and actually got something useful out of it?

$150 for career coaching usually means you need to check their reviews first.

$150 for career coaching? Man, that's like a full day of work for some people after taxes and stuff. I mean, I know that's not crazy money for some jobs but for coaching? I'd want to see at least 50 glowing reviews before I even thought about dropping that. And even then, I'd probably just use the free stuff on YouTube or whatever first.
