Used to pick the cheapest shipper on price alone, now I check their YouTube channel first
After my last car arrived in Denver with a scratched bumper from a guy who had zero online presence, I started looking for companies that actually show their loading process on video. It's not foolproof, but seeing how they strap down a Porsche or a lifted truck tells me way more than a quote ever did. Anyone else do background checks beyond just reading Google reviews?

Seeing how they strap down a Porsche is a smart check. Videos show the little things, like if they use soft straps on the wheels or just hook the frame and hope for the best. I watched one guy drag a strap across a fender and that was enough for me. It beats a five star review from someone shipping a beater Civic.
