Open vs enclosed carrier on a cross country move - huge difference
I shipped my classic Mustang from Dallas to Portland last month and the open carrier cost $800 while enclosed was $1500. Went with the open carrier and got rock chips all over the hood, now I'm looking at $600 in paint repairs. Anyone else have regret picking the cheap option?

Man that is EXACTLY what happened to me with my '69 Camaro from Chicago to Denver. Picked open to save and ended up with a cracked windshield plus rock chips everywhere. Such a false economy, wish someone had warned me about this sooner.
