Lost an engine hauling an old pickup 400 miles last week

Blew a head gasket on my trailer's hydraulic pump halfway through Nevada because I skimped on checking the fluid level... cost me $1,200 in repairs and a full day stranded. Anyone else have a transport job go sideways from one stupid oversight?

Oh man, that really stinks! A simple fluid check can save so much headache and money, it's crazy how one little thing can wreck your whole day. Hope the rest of the trip went smoothly after that nightmare.
