Yeah I read some car blog a while back that said the 60s Mustangs were basically just Falcons with a pretty body. Which is kind of true but the Falcon was a solid platform to start with. Those early models had that simple leaf spring rear end and a straight six that would run forever if you didn't beat on it. This car looks like it might have the 289 which was a step up but still not crazy power by today's standards. The whole thing about these cars is how easy they are to work on. You can rebuild the whole engine with basic tools and a weekend. Not like new cars where you need a laptop just to change the oil.

Honestly, didn't think much of Mustangs before but this kinda changed my mind.
