My tent leaked at 2am in a thunderstorm in the Smokies, and the culprit was the seam tape

I woke up soaked through my sleeping bag with water pooling in the corners because I'd never re-sealed the seams after storing it in a damp garage for 6 months, so now I'm wondering who else has learned that rainfly coating wears out faster than the tent itself and what do you use to re-waterproof without ruining the fabric?

Used Seam Grip after a sunny day dry out, never had leaks since.
