My cheap sleeping pad finally gave out after 8 trips to Big Bend
The valve started leaking air around 3 AM on the last night, so I woke up on the rocky ground with my hip throbbing, and now I'm wondering if spending $90 on a nicer pad is worth it or if I should just double up on foam layers like my buddy does.
