My 3-person tent pole snapped in a light breeze last Saturday
I was set up at Juniper Campground near Bend, testing my two-year-old tent for a fall trip. A gust maybe hit 15 mph, nothing wild, and the main aluminum pole just cracked right at the ferrule. I had to pack up early and drive 40 miles to find a store with a repair kit, but the replacement sleeve only held for one night. Has anyone else had a pole fail this early, or is this a known weak point with lighter-weight tents?
