Bought a $12 headlamp off a clearance bin at a Rehoboth Beach surf shop, and it outlasted my $60 one
Picked it up three summers ago mostly as a backup for night walks to the bathhouse. First trip out, the strap felt flimsy and I figured it would die by morning, but it ran 4 nights straight on the same batteries while my fancy one dimmed out halfway through night two. I still don't get why the cheap one holds up better. Has anyone else had a no-name light surprise them like that, or did I just get lucky with this one batch?
