I finally figured out why my lens kept getting stuck on one specific camera body

Last Saturday I was out at Forest Park shooting some fall colors and my 50mm just locked up on my old Canon body. Wouldn't turn to mount or unmount. Had to walk back to the car with the lens practically glued on. Got home and took a closer look at the mount ring on the camera. There was this tiny burr of metal on one of the tabs from where I'd dropped it on pavement about 2 years ago. Took a jewelers file and gently smoothed it off. Works smooth now. Has anyone else had a tiny defect like that cause a mount issue?

Yeah that exact thing happened to me on a Nikon body, filed it down and it was fine after that.
